Each small square represents a full size topo map sheet. As you can see, there are 16 1:50,000 topographic sheets in each 1:250,000 Topo sheet to order from. Both scales are available though Digital Projections in one of these options: Paper print, laminated print, waterproof print, photographic paper print (for Plaque Mounting or framing). Also in many digital formats: Raster (tiff, jpg, png, gif, bmp, tfw world file, GeoTiff), pre-packaged off the shelf (see ETopo, or Fugawi on our website), or Vector (individually custom ordered).
