Hot Lamination:  Hot laminating service - The clear plastic film protects, seals, and enhances printed colors to a wet look. Our standard laminate is the smooth 3 mil Gloss Laminate both sides. Up to 60 inch wide rolls on the machine. Next day turnaround on most orders. Digital Projections also offers lamination using a number of other smooth and textured laminates: Matte Laminate (2 kinds: Economy and High-End) as single or double sided. Canvas Textured Laminate (which turns an ordinary print into a Canvas looking piece of art.) Matex Matte Laminate and Satinex Gloss Laminate (are commonly used on digitally printed Canvas.) Emerytex Laminate (which is scuff resistant and has a pebble or sand textured look, commonly used on desk or floor graphics, signage, trade show graphics, displays, counter mats, mouse pads, vehicle graphics, etc.) Scribe Laminate (which is very durable and commonly used with dry-erase pens / non-permanent markers.) Dry Mounting on Foam Core and corrugated plastic Coroplast:
Dry mounting on Foam Core is a good way to keep maps and posters flat. Much less expensive and much lighter in weight than plaque mounting or picture framing. Stick pins or flag pins in without damaging the walls.
Choose 3/16" or 1/2" thickness. Edges can be left untreated, finished with black plastic edger (now available for the 3/16" and 1/2" Foam Core), or mounted into a metal or wooden custom picture frame. We also offer Dry Mounting
to corrugated plastic Coroplast, for the same price as the 3/16" Foam Core, offering good durability for outdoors. Foam Core offers a smooth flat finish, but only used for indoor purposes. Normal turnaround is about 3-4 business
days on most orders. Rush service is available

Plaque Mounting / Float Mounting / Flush Mounting:Plaque, Float, and Flush mounts, all professionally done and 100% satisfaction guaranteed. A more economical way to give a finished look to your maps, photos, pictures, posters, or any artwork. Mounted on smooth MDF wooden board. Contemporary looking. All three types of mounting (Plaque, Float, and Flush) include a matte finish laminate for protection (offering UV protection as well), a beveled edge with a selection of standard colors to choose from (black being the most common), all built in the price. Please keep in mind with these three options you will loose about 1/8" all around from the image due to the beveling and taping process. To avoid this consider going to a Mat-Plaque, Mat-Float, or Mat-Flush, where the print is precisely trimmed, then mounted on top of a Mat, and the Mat is then beveled. The Plaque is the most economical, mounted on a solid smooth mdf particle board (wood), which is about 3/8" in thickness, and includes a taped beveled edge (the standard is black but other colors are available), and matte laminate on top. A very good way to get a finished look from a poster. Normal turnaround is about 3-4 business days on most orders; rush service is available (surcharged.) See our price list below, based on size. The Float is a thinner board, supported by thick in-set rails from the back. Also includes a taped beveled edge. It is light in weight, so more ideal for large items because of the offered support. The Float leaves a shadow on the wall, which gives a beautiful floating effect to the display. Normal turnaround is about one week on most orders; rush service is available (surcharged.) See our price list below, based on size. The Flush shows a 7/8" attractive thick taped profile, and offers a nice wide bevel. It is also recommended for large items. See our price list below, based on size. All three types: The Plaque, the Float, and the Flush come with a beveled colored taped edge. Alternatively, they can come as a beveled colored painted edge for a slight price increase, so please contact us for a custom quote.
Mat Plaque / Mat Float / Mat Flush / Raised Plaque Mounting:Mat-Plaque, Mat-Float, Mat-Flush, and Raised Plaque are great mounting options for any poster. Highly recommended especially for smaller prints, however this addition of a Mat will frame any size poster better, plus will definitely draw the eye in. These options are similar to the above three services, but we add a colored Mat under your print before Mounting. A 2 or 3 inch wide white or black Mat is most common. Mat-Plaquing adds an additional nice stylish wide border around your Artwork. The Mat is mounted directly onto the MDF, the photo is centered and sits over the Mat, then the matte laminate over top. For digitally printed large items this Mat look can be done by simply adding a digital border to the print. This will be more economical way to achieve the same look. A colored beveled edge will finish the sides (black being the most common edge color.) Adding a Mat will increase the overall price in comparison to standard Plaque Mounting, as the UI (united inches) for your piece will increase, plus the cost of the Mat. However, this process enhances the look of your final product, and adds visual emphasis. Normal turnaround is about one week on most orders; rush service is available (surcharged.) Canvas: From Digital (Giclee) / From Paper (Canvas Transfer) / Canvas Stretching:
Digital Canvas Printing (Giclee) and Stretching: We offer direct printing output from digital to Artist Stretch Canvas (Giclee). Send us your digital photos, artwork, designs, and we can
edit them (if needed), then print them directly from your digital file to Canvas. The Canvas is then matte or gloss laminated (to seal and protect) and stretched onto a light weight wooden frame (stretcher bars.)
Edges can be finished with black or white linen tape, showing maximum image on the front side. Alternatively, image can be wrapped around on the sides, this is called "Image or Gallery wrap." For white or solid color edge printed
as part of the image, ask for a "Museum wrap". Another choice is the "Photoshopped" option, using a mirror or stretch technique. See the photos on the right. Please specify these options when ordering. The quality is excellent. Our pricing for Digital Printing on Canvas (Giclee) is listed under PLOTTING & REPRO. per square foot. The cost of Matte Lamination, which is highly recommended with Canvas, is listed per United Inches (UI=length + width) rounded up to the nearest row. See the price chart at the bottom of this page. . Stretcher bar choices are: Standard 3/4", Deep 1-1/2", or Deeper 2". Edge choices: (Black or white linen tape, Image or Gallery wrap, Museum wrap, or Photoshopped wrap.) We recommend matte or gloss laminating our digital printed Canvas, as it seals and protects it, enhances its look, and brings out the high texture definition that everyone loves. Some vendors don't do this, so the image may fade, crack, or degrade over time. However, some client's supplied Canvas or Fabrics can be ready to be stretched as is without laminate. For example: Oil painted Canvas. You may also want to consider adding a nice wide contemporary or classical wooden frame to your stretched canvas, or a Floater frame, as it's an excellent way to finish it off. Please contact us for a custom quote and for more details. Canvas Transfer (from paper) and Stretching: DigitalPro offers Paper to Canvas Transfer. This process is done by soaking the original print in a chemical. The top layer of the paper is lifted along with the print onto matte laminate and mounted onto Canvas. The Canvas is then stretched onto stretcher bars and finished with black or white linen tape. Alternatively, the Canvas can be stretched as an image wrap. Stretcher bars depth are: Standard 3/4", Deep 1-1/2", or Deeper 2". This entire process is called "Canvas Transfer". The end result shows the texture that gives the image the appearance of an original painting on Canvas, a complete unique finished product which is ready to display. For best results with this kind of transfer — prints must meet certain requirements in order to be successfully transferred to canvas. We must see your item(s) to make this assessment, but usually for best results: Anything printed on wood pulp paper or cotton rag paper, Photographs, and inkjet printouts on rag, acid-free, artist or watercolor paper are fine. Not recommended: Anything in poor condition (i.e. stains, wrinkles, dents, water damage), paper with heavy texture, or Laser copies. The brushed Silver recommended for indoors only. Direct Printing on Dibond / ePanel is an excellent way to display photography, art for home or office, business signs or any kind of sign.
