Each small square in the index maps represents a full size topo map sheet. There are 16 1:50,000 scale topographic map sheets in each 1:250,000 Topo sheet to order from. Both scales are available through Digital Projections in one of these options: Paper print, laminated print, waterproof print, photographic paper print (for mounting on Foam Core, Plaque Mounting, or framing). They are also available in many digital formats: Individually as Raster (tiff, jpg, png, gif, bmp, tfw world file, GeoTiff), pre-packaged off the shelf per province and GPS ready (ETopo Software listed on our site under GPS Software), or Vector (individually, for GIS like ArcView or ArcInfo, or MapInfo, Cad, Adobe Illustrator, CorelDraw, etc.)

People often ask us, what is the difference between 1:50,000 and 1:250,000 topo? Just above is a very good illustration. At Digital Projections, we sell and can work with these topo maps to provide custom orders and requests for custom areas. Aside from selling the topographic map sheets, we do custom work and design using the digital topographic maps (raster and vector), to provide the digital map data in many different formats.
